    Hi all,

I am having a minor problem with Internet Explorer. I am running Windows XP with IE 7.

Is there a way to stop IE from popping up over other programs everytime a new webpage is loaded?

Whenever I click on a new link in an IE window, or open a new web page (or refresh an existing page), I will often switch to another program (such as Outlook, Excel, or even another IE window) while it loads the new page. Now, when the new page is loaded, it will pop up and thus interupt whatever I had just switched to.

As an example, I will typically be switching back and forth between Excel and IE to input data.

I will Copy and paste things from Excel into IE, then click on a link which will save what I typed in. Now, I will go back to Excel, and when the new page is done being loaded in IE, it will automatically pop up over what I was doing in Excel (thus I have to minimize it to go back to Excel).

It is also pretty aggravating when trying to browse two different web sites in two different windows.

I am sure there is a way to toggle this off, but I cannot find it.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
