   IE has disappeared from my computer, I reinstalled everything said it was fine but it doesn't show up anywhere???????????

   can you see it in the folder C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ ? There should be an iexplore.exe in there.

   What Windows version and Service Pack (if applicable) are you using?
   
   As for re-installed everything, do you mean IE or Windows?
   
   If you boot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot and choose Safe Mode with Networking) does IE show up?
   
   To find IE look also in Start > Programs (could be All Programs *depending on Win version) then Accessories then System Tools
