IE6sp2(all upd.)browser problem

exsample at MajorGeek you could try,IE FIX, left click ,the screen flash a bit but nothing happend.Right click -properties-protekold HTTP,docoment HTML,URL= htt*//majorgeeks.com/download4467.html copy this URL to a new browser window and then go ,no problems.Where in the IE have i a wrong setup. best regards oldi

 

Sorry, can this be translated into something we can understand??!!!

 

I think oldi is saying that in Internet Explorer when he left clicks a download file the download screen pops up & closes.

If he right clicks, copies the url, pastes it into IE it will download.

What's going on with the left click??

Try this to repair IE
Start/Run/regsvr32 urlmon.dll

OR

To reinstall IE
Start/run/rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 c:\windows\inf\ie.inf

thanks it is ie6 sp2 and i have run sfc /scannow without result.I can see solo_voyager have a similar problem. regards oldi
