IE7 gone crazy

    If you have SpyBot installed, go to SpyBot > Search and Destroy > Immunize, and uncheck the "Lock IE Control Panel..." box.

    it is already unchecked

    and it is open spybot>tools>IE tweaks>Lock IE control panel

    and it should use a reg key to do so... and we have found that is not the solution

    i downloaded ie 7 and it is a mess...i emailed microsoft and no one will answer back...i did a system restore back 2 years and ie 7 is still there...i went in to delete ie 7 but i couldn't find an ie 6 still in my computer...
    how do i get rid of ie 7 and get back my ie 6?

    wouldn't reinstalling windows xp service pack 2 reinstall IE6 and all defaults?

    is there any other way to restrict access to internet options besides the registry?

    could the default IE6 registry entry have been changed?

    read all posts if that does not help ask a question or 2:)

    i was going to email Microsoft in the first place but IE7 support is only by phone and it cost $$$ so i just went here... since i got IE6 now... isn't IE6 support free by email?
