IE7 hell. please help

The only reason i use internet explorer is for windows updates. i am quite content with firefox and opera. since updating to IE7 final, IE has been freezing and i have been recieving errors (bizziairely with no codes) when running windows updates. is there anyone experiencing the same problem? is this a known IE7 issue? please help.

my operating system is windows xp home edition sp2. i'm running spysweeper, nod32 antivirus and kerio firewall.

 

I'm running IE7 and have since it's release and I havn't had any problems as of yet. Can you take a screenshot of your errors and attach them?

Also, have you been checked for any malware within the past few weeks? If so, was anything found?

 

Go to this thread, where there is a whole list a little ways down the thread that Star17 put together of threads dealing specifically with IE7 problems. Some people haven't had problems, but a lot have.
