IE8 download

tried to load IE8, would not load said it couldn't loaded on this operating system.

Running, Windows, Vista home base 32bit. Can't seem to download at IE programs I have read that I would need service pak 1 and 2 on IE 9 and Vista, cannot find any downloads for it.

 

You can download IE9 from Microsoft website. Which has now been released as final.

Attn: ain.t Thanks for the information, do you know where I can a download site for Service pak? I read that you need to have service pak 1 installed before you download service pak 2.

Tried to download service pak 1 for ie6, got this msg "c:/users/jim/downloads/windows 60-kb936330x86-wave0(1).exe.part. could not be saved try later or contact server admin.

Before I try again, wonder why this might have failed.

Where was the Vista sp1 downloaded from ?? was it direct from MS or through windows update or some other source?? please use the one in this link....

download and let it do its updates then install sp2 from here...

try to download with internet explorer
a few weeks ago i tried to download something from microsoft with firefox and miraculous i could nto download it. i went back with explorer and got the file. microsodt is doing again what has done to netscape.
