This is someone's room dedicated to playing video games. It's unbelievable.

Warning: The FAQ doesn't render well in Firefox. IE worked well. Pictures are alright in both browsers.

 

May not be your cup of tea, but you sure have to admire both his collection and workmanship. Side Note FAQ' s do not work in Opera either, and they are worth reading, the FAQ's as Mada said work in IE, but the photos are slow to load in IE, at least for me.

 

When I saw the pics I thought myself "here's someone who hasn't seen the sunlight for years". I was really surprised to read the FAQ, where he says the opposite, but it sounds sensible. Why would he wanna lie about it?
Besides the Geekness in his blood I also admire his comercial instinct . He sniffed out good bargains and sometimes even made $$ out of it.

Looks pretty sweet. I hope he took out extra insurance on all of that. It would be a shame to see his collection destroyed by flood/fire/whatever with no recourse.

 

I'm not sure that I would be happy with plain old money if I lost all that.

I had a look at his strange and rare items page, and there are some CRAZY things there! He's got consoles from around the world. I don't think alot of it could be replaced!

 

I admire anyone who goes the extra mile just seeing that room makes me wanna game on Mario,only ever played first two stages on Mario one at a friends house,I was a SEGA boy

 

I've seen this before a year or two ago. It's set up almost like an EB store or something, especially with the console signs, wall panels, and TV on the upper wall. I'd love to have a room like that, though.
I also "think" he "needs" to "let up" on "quotes".

This guy has a real passion for his hobby and i take my hat of to him on a job well done. It looks better than most retail stores

My only mistake was after i showed this to my 16 year old son, guess what i'll be spending the next 20 years doing?

The term I would use is musium quality. I notice he has a C64 near the top of the shelf, which is appropriate enough. Personally I love his room, he's definately one of us.
