That is becoming more problematic, idiot people with literally lives in their hands and blowing off people. Jerk needs to be fired. Just because he has commendations means his peers approved of his actions, not that the public did or even that he did the right thing.
A small boy lost his mother because a 911 operator hung up on him twice telling him to stop playing on the phone.
These people need to be prosecuted. :mad

 

Agreed on the prosecution. If a family member of mine died because of something like this the 911 op would be in the hospital. I'd definitely do something stupid.

 

On the other hand (here in Armpit) you might be better off if they never show up.
Two different incidents here where someone called for help the police came and shot and killed them. The latest being a 52 year old woman who had some kind of mental condition and apparently didn't take her meds, was in her house yelling (alone) cops went in shot and killed her. One cop said he fell back wards over a footstool and the gun went off. :liar
