Iframe.js.gen ???

hi,
Antivirus i am using, is repeatedly detecting as well as cleaning a virus named IFRAME.JS.GEN . But when i run the scan again after some days the same virus is detected in numbers of 3-4 in the C drive. Also my systems starts getting hanged repetedly especially while browsing.

The 2nd problem : this antivirus detected CCleaner's uninstall file as malware and cleaned it. wt should i do for that?

thanks for ur reply. sorry am late in replying back as was out of station. well as per ur advise tried following the steps of READ AND RUN ME FIRST . malware removal guide.
but there are some queries and doubts: the virus IFRAME.JS.GEN is not detected by my
norton antivirus 2005 probably being a older version.... so this one was detected by another one which i run from CD. I had used it a couple of times before too but had no troubles .
Secondly trying to empty my recycle bin the bin is empty as i see no folders but still the icon is of unempty RC bin. also it says that there r 48 items to be deleted if i click on "empty recycle bin"

 

Malware ??? not getting cleaned

I am in utter despair. I had already reached out for help on this forum and got advised as :

I tried following the advise today and attempted downloading the scans.
I was successful to download only combofix.exe. For the other two i wasn't able to download even on repeated attempts and got error saying "Operation Aborted, internet explorer can't connect to the specified site"
Rather later I got the same message when i tried connecting to MG site. with much difficulty i was later able to log on.

I really thank u all there who hv helped us before . and this time too i m waiting for the same.

Hi dmpedpt,

Sorry for the connection problems. This has to do with the site. When you get a connection, please use the Manage Attachments button to attach any logs you were able to get so we can look at them. Also, what other name did you post in originally? I only find this one post with your name dmpedpt. Did you use the same name for your other post?

Thanks for reply. Sorry, but I have actually little knowlege of this field. But still as suggested by the help guide for runnning combofix.exe I first installed it in C drive where i have windows too. later, since i did not get any icon on the desktop i created a shortcut for the same at desktop and later renamed it cf.exe. But when I would later run from the box. the software did not run saying error.
Secondly when i tried to Run the programme from the C drive . it created a txt file named Bug. I have norton 2005 as my antivirus. So how do i disable it before running combofix.exe.
So how should i proceed further. Also i tried a no. of times but the other 2 suggested programmes are still not downloadable.

To answer ur question the previous posts I made were with the same username and were titled "ISFRAME.JS.GEN??" . but that was quite some time ago.
