so im building a new comp... and i want to know waht u all think before i actually go and buy these parts, please help!

I might consider buy a new harddrive but i already have 2
Already have CDRW and DVD drive

Not sure about the major differences, but IMO it''s apples.....and well apples.

From what I've read most people like the VIA K8T800 over the Nforce boards.

Everything else looks fine to me. Best o' luck man.

I prefer amd you get more bang for the buck. I also like abit or asus boards and for spending 99 bucks maybe you should look into one. I have been gathering parts for a new build with the amd 64 3400, I like it because of the 1 mb cache and plan on using a Abit KV8pro with the same ram you have listed witch is a good price and good ram if you don't plan to overclock to much.
