i could always send him a tape of the weather here in belgium it may not get him a tan but it will make me feel good as we have nothing but grey skies and rain for the moment.

it is more than 25 years since i was in oz i had three weeks in brisbane what a great memory, that was in january.
just looking out of the window here it's raining and the temp is just 4 celsius:wave

 

Brisbane is much changed and more up market now....lovely place. Queensland is a top tourist place, I used to drive up there for holidays....the Barrier Reef is better than ever too and still a favourite hotspot.

It's 24 celcius tonight (10:40pm) but lovely and balmy outside and great for night swims on the beach. Our Winters are mild compared to yours - I certainly feel for you...I hate the cold....think warm.

Why? Where are you from? Is it cold there? Brisbane is up North in the "Sunny state". Nice as Brisbane is, I'm a Sydneyite:cool ....to each his own.
