I'm getting an error when installing Itunes

I get two error's:

First one is

":An error occured during the installation of assembly "Microsoft.vcx0mcrt,version="8.0.50727.4053",type="win32",publickeytoken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b,processorArchitecture="x86". Please refer to help and support for more info HRESULT:0x8007054f."

"Service "apple mobile device failed to start. Verify u have sufficient privileges to start system services"

The computer is running on Windows Vista 64bit and the installer I ran was the 64 Bit Itunes installer file found via http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1047
