i'm i overclocking to far muahahaha

right now i have my celeron 2.0ghz overclocked 50% so its at 3ghz do yall think i should try and push to 100% OC? it would be running at 4ghz if i did lol or will i be pushing to far? and right now the temp is about 63C on the cpu is that too much?

you know under load the cpu temp goes down? i put it under load and it went from 64C to 58C whats with that?

dont ask me how but thats what happen but also the cpu fan speed jumped under load so that maybe why

 

Could you run a sandra cpu bench and post the results,to see what kind of numbers it throws out, and try running toast if the temp goes down under that maybee the it underclocking itself for protection,although I'm not clued up in celery protection!

 

I am somewhat of a newbie in the oc department but from what I understand if your system is not locking up or having other kinds of problems (i.e. slow performance) the heat will not shorten the life of your overheated components dramatically so I would think you should go for the gusto if you can but then i may just be an addict (albeit a newbie) also

The cpu benchmark is on the main page just double click it then press the refresh button and it will benchmark it,its good because it shows what scores other cpu's have got and exactly how much performance you have gained!

You could prob find an earlier version floating round the web its been going for about 8 years and they bring a new one out every year,I'd email it to you but I'v got 2005 aswell,I dont wanna recommend a 3rd party site incase theres spyware bundled with it.
