    Ok

    First

I had a bunch of spyware or adware, whatever they are called.

So I ran Cwshredder, spybot, adwarese.

That got rid of most the Malware. But, There still was the myway.mywebsearch.

    Then I ran hijackthis.

I believe that got rid of the myway.mywebsearch.

Currently there is no virus protection, I cannot get the CD-rom drive to work so I ran the pandasoft virus scam and cleaned it up. I have uninstalled and rebooted and it shows up in the device manager saying windows succesfully loaded the device driver for the hardware but cannot finde the hardware device(code 41). I thought maybe there was a virus or something was hijacked. Anyway, I wanna put some virus scan on the harddrive but The cd-rom wont work. I can open the drive, but it doesn't show up under my computer or read any cd's.

Also her is my hijack log after I deleted a lot of stuff.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

I'm not sure exactly what you are doing and what you remaining problems are.

If you are having problems with your CD drive you should post a message in the Hardware Forum not in the Malware Forum.

If you are having malware problems, you need to follow the standard cleaning steps given below. And please do not post any logs inline as you did. And do not edit the logs. Only complete unaltered logs should be attached and only after the cleaning procedures below have been run.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis
