Im Nerveous

Tommorrow is my 1st day of high school and im going to get eaten alive.

I think you will be fine.... The first day is the most fun anyway! Don't be sad, be HAPPY!

Just think, in a few years, you will be 'welcoming' the newbies yourself... :-D

All of us (most of us,anyway) have went through the same thing and survived.
And just think. There is only ONE first day.Get past that and the rest will come to you.

 

If you go in with the attitude that they're going to eat you alive, it'll more than likely end up being a self-fulfilling prophecy. Instead, go in with the attitude that it's only one day at school, and while it is the first one it can't last more than a few hours. Think of it as setting out on a new adventure, one where you can determine for yourself how it will go. And have fun! You're only young once!

 

Com'on Dawg, you're gonna do just fine. On the first day, all you need to do is find the toughest guy in the school, slap him around a little. Then, when you get out of hospital, the rest of the kids will think you're crazy and leave you alone. High School is the best years of your life ENJOY them for all they are worth!
I don't know about where you live but here, we have a tradition called rookie week, where the senior grab the rookies and color/paint their faces or they will slather you with shaving cream or any other creative way to say welcome to our school

Well my youngest son come home from his first day of high school today.. picture this, barely an inch of skin was showing through the marker, liquid paper, and left over shave cream on his face!!! :yum

I'll post a pic tomorrow of what he looked like, you wont believe the stuff they put on him
and he still has 3 more days to endure! HAHAHA

My stepson also started today but in a different highschool, which has 0 tolerence for that stuff, so he came home clean as a whistle.... thats no darn fun at all!

 

Around here, that's known as hazing, and it's illegal.
