I'm not sure where this belongs, but i'm having a problem with sound...

I've checked all my connections and plugs, but when i go to a site with music, like www.viknluda.com(curry and rice girl music video) or www.runescape.com(you have to play the game), the sound is not coming out of my speakers... I have a Dell Dimension 4550 with Harmon/Kardon speakers hooked up to it. I've tried on other computers, and the sound works fine. I've found out that if the thing i watch uses windows media player(i have version 10), it works. Please help my precious computer "sing" again...

 

You've most lilkely just set your web browser to not play sounds. Simply go into the web browsers settings and make sure you allow it to play media from web sites. Since it works in WMP10 you already know the speakers work fine.

 

umm... where do i get web browser settings? I have windows XP....
