I'm off to Vegas...

My wife and I are going to Las Vegas, NV for the first time tomorrow (and I am getting my first real vacation since my honeymoon). I love playing poker, but I think BlackJack will be my game out there -- we are going with another couple and the husband really fancys the game. Wish me luck!

Also, if geeks give suggestions for a "lucky" number on the roulette wheel, I'll bet on the one with the best (or most amusing) reason with proceeds donated to MG.com. If it doesn't hit, consider it a "donation of chance".

i went to las vegas AND monte carlo!!!! i played roulette at MC and black jack at LV . i lost (of course!). when i was in MC i was 23 (1980) and bet a TOTAL of ten pounds. it took me 4hrs to lose everything. when i was in LV (1995) i bet a total of $100. after 24hrs i still had $75. go figure. have fun. be careful. (i know, hard to do both) aloha

#13...when I was 13 yrs old I placed a bet on #13 and won a bottle of sherry at a school fayre. Trouble was they wouldn't let me have it as I was underaged, but it was the first time I ever won anything
