I'm sick

My throat is so sore! My tonsils are sitting on the back of my tongue, and it hurts when I swallow or yawn.

Went to the Dr's yesterday and it's strep. So I'm not going away for the weekend now.

But, on the brighter side, Eric bought me orange juice (Aldi's not from Concentrate!) and made me chicken noodle soup, and has been taking care of the kids so I can rest and get better.

I wont bother with any remedies,,
these things run their course,

now I'm going to go before I catch it

 

man, everyone is getting sick.

I hear ya! Got the same symptoms, but I don't think mine is strep. At least I hope not!

no no no no no. I'm going to inspire her to get better by encouraging her to get up off the couch and do something. Moving around helps people feel better, and I plan on causing so much chaos she won't be able to sit on the couch for one second!

i had that last week - not strep but a cold with really sore throat then i got the stomach flu on top of it - try throwing up constantly with a sore throat - yuck!
be sure to take you medication - you don't want to mess around with strep!

yep, they gave me straight up penicillin 500mg 3X a day for 10 days. I'll be good and take it all. This is the worst sore throat I've had since I had mono when I was 10.
