    Hi,
I logged onto my yahoo messenger account. I had an offline from one of my friends in yahoo messenger list with the link http://www.geocities.com/dypuk_2005
I clicked that only to find that geocities had removed the account due to size exceed. Then my brother said he too had the same message with the same result. I thought since he was a friend to both of us that ok.
This evening my roomate asked me if there was any offline from him with a link. It seemed that all his friends in yahoo list replied to him saying there were no pictures in the link he sent. On asking him what the link was, i found it was the same as above.
Can anyone suggest me if this is IM virus or worm.
By the way, i am new to the forum. hello to everyone.

I have no idea! But if a message was originated from a friends computer without their knowledge, that friend should check his/her PC for malware.
