I'm stuck

I am following your steps, as outlined, but I have run into a glitch. When I go to do the msconfig, I only get so far and have no where to go.

* Click Start and type RUN in the Start Search box and hit enter, then in the RUN box type msconfig and hit enter.
* Select the General tab and select Normal Startup.
* Then click Apply and OK and reboot PC before continuing.
* Remain in this Normal Startup mode while your PC is being cleaned of malware.


I click start and type RUN, hit enter and that is it, no other box to type into -- I am doing it according to the Vista setup -- what have I done wrong, if anything?
