i just went out and bought "The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift" now when ever i buy a DVD i make a image of it on my HDD and compress it and leave it there for if i ever go somewhere for afew weeks i can take all my movies with me. well the movie i bought before Tokyo Drift was T3 Rise of the bla. it had me install a media player for it i knew i should not have well anyway i installed it watched the movie on my pc and liked it but did not want to waste space on my hdd for it so i just put it up with out coping it to my hdd well now i got Tokyo Drift i put it in my DVD-rom and started up cloneCD to make a image like i always do and i go to the screen where i chose a file name. nomatter what kind of .EX i try to give it it stays .DVD i cant get it to save it as .MDS or what ever it will not change so i thought no biggy i would just use A-120% to make the image seeing as i use it to mount it. And guess what i open A-120 go to image making wizard and no disk shows up when i click on my dvd-rom for source. am i just one of the unlucky ones that got hit by sonys rootkit or what? i really dont know whats wrong all my other dvds i got saved on my HDD seems to play fine when i mount them.

Does anyone know what i should do?

No big deal since you own the DVD, just take it with you:)

i gone over the site and looked in services like it said and did not find what it said to look for. so does that mean i might be clean because my AV did nto turn up nothing eather and its updated when ever theres a update.. i guess its just the movie...

if i try and copy the dvd by right clicking on the dvd folders it gives me a error. but i can copy it over useing DVDFab Decrypter but not in a image format so i cant mount it to one of my Virtual Drives. does anyone know of a free software that will copy it to my hdd in a image format (any format dont matter i beleave 120% can read all)....

BTW if this was not legit a mod would have got it. but i beleave i am well trusted here or else the mods or admins would of deleted this so i beleave they trust me. :)

This may not help, but have you tried renaming the extension, after you have created the image?

I know this is a workaround, but a plausible one, until someone figures this out.

Also, shouldn't you be using clone dvd and not clone cd?

well that seemed to work but after windows media player comes up and starts showing the FBI warnnings and all it crashes after 10sec. WMP has done this to me before and i beleave its the dvd codec so i am going to try another media player as soon as i can find one lol
you know of one better thin WMP?

Another option, uninstall clonecd (dvd?) and reinstall it.
