Images

I have a directory containing images only. When I get to a screen capture, which I've never had a problem viewing before, Irfanview won't show it to me, gives me a message that I don't have access to this file. It's a subdirectory of a directory for files that are most important to me, which I created and I own.

 

Sorry for not posting any technical info. I'm running WIN7x64SP1Home Premium. The images don't show up in paint, not even their names. I'm logged on as an Administrator, have always logged on as an Administrator, and at the time that I was able to view these images I was logged on as an Administrator. The most infuriating aspect to the situation is that I'm told that I must get my own permission in order to view the files.

Is there a sophisticated 64-bit file viewer that I should use instead of Irfanview?

I might add that I get these access violations very frequently, but I'm always able to find a workaround.

Permission for folders can sometimes get lost; check its permissions via right-click | Properties.
