Important software having virus

    I use Eset smart security for protection on my win xp pro.

    I have 1 software which during installation was stopped by Eset and said Win32/Agent.OHT trojan was found.
    I tried to find out about this what changes it makes to system but didn't get it.

    Now the problem is I want to use this software. Can I disable antivirus and install this infected software and then later remove the trojan?

    Please guide me.

    You did not even tell us what software you are trying to use so how are we supposed to comment? Perhaps it is just a false detection that you need to report to Eset.

    Hey it worked with 1 trick.

    Double click software> when it say virus and then wait 2 mins. The AV will stop the virus and will alow u to install the s/w.

    Note :- To dis go to setup> advanced>Antivirus and sypyware>setup>Cleaning>make it no cleaning> Now it will ask what to do....Now use the above one
    This worked for my Eset/NOD32.

    Installation continued, I asked for clean the file and after finishing installation, I deleted the affected file from quartine.

    ^ It was a pirated software m8:-o,don't remember that infected file name now but it was detected as Win32/Agent.OHT trojan by Eset.
