importing files

    I need to import files from a corrupted copy of win xp,including incredimail,from one place (partition) on a computer to the other (partition) on the same computer with the same win xp reinstalled. Incredimail import/export instructions do not work. Plus I have several other files that I would like to transfer over to the newly installed operating system.
