    Hi,

First of all, I know I haven't posted in a long time... sorry about that.

So I'd like to have YIM on my machine, but I would like to control a few of it's features (kids).

I'd like to completely block incoming and outgoing webcam connections. I found a dated site that said adding webcam.yahoo.com to the hosts file (redirecting to 127.0.0.1) would do it, but that doesn't work at all. I'm curious to know if I can simply delete one (or more) of the files in the Yahoo! program folder to just get rid of the video feature altogether (without breaking the rest of the program, of course). I haven't been able to find a CURRENT list of all of the Yahoo! webcam servers.

I'd also like to be able to lock the settings/preferences in YIM so they can't be changed. I found something about PolicyPak having something like that available, but I don't have the dough for that. Again, maybe a program file or registry setting I could lock down somehow?

There's got to be someone here that still hacks the YIM program, etc. that would know something about this, I hope? Or is there some way through Group Policy to do this?
