in despirate need of help!

hi guys. first time posting here and i hope this can get sorted out.

first of all i hope you can bear with me a bit, not very good as have only encountered a minor trojan once ever before about 2 years ago. downloaded trojanremover and it got rid of it easily.

im not quite sure where to begin. basicly i think i have some form of malware on my computer. i keep getting odd graphical glitches (blue screen of death on one particular game every time i start it up for example) continual popups despite having popup blocker active, the comp itself is running alot slower especially at startup than normal and my IE browsing gets "diverted" from whatever im trying to log into to somthing else, usually an advert.

more alarmingly im getting a message every 20-25 mins saying "windows defender has found trojandownloader: renos.(two letters will update when it pops up again as cant remember them) it gives me the option to remove it but then it just repeats itself again.

the most agrivating thing is i cant do anything to combat this. i tried following the "READ AND RUN ME FIRST" thread. but didnt get anywhere whenever i try to run any sort of defence prog i get these:

i tried to use system restore, it restarted windows saying "restore failed" and now says "there are no previous restore files on this computer"

ad-aware anniversary edition pops up with "failed to connect to service"

several free anti virus software things ive downloaded and my kaspersky internet security 2009 says "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

ive ran cc cleaner but that didnt help.

i downloaded and ran avast! cleaner but that didnt detect anything unusual (although it did scan).

malwarebytes; ive tried downloading it as it comes and re downloading it and changing its name before starting the download but the furthest i got is it installs it, i click update and run and it updates, then it starts to run the scan and gets exited at about 5% progress for no reason. after this both left and right clicking on the malwarebytes icon causes the loading mouse cursor to start up and spin for about 2 mins and nothing happens.

ive tried all this in both normal startup and safe mode (with and without networking) and it does the same thing.

im all out of ideas what to do. i see people post logs of things like malwayebyes scans but the malwarebytes folder is totally empty and the 3 programs in there have 1kb size so i guess its somhow deleted them?

any help would be appreciated. thankyou for taking the time to read this.

 

i got it fixed. the wife downloaded and ran the program spyware doctor which detected all sort of things and removed them
