In dire need of your help... Big problem related to disabled services.

I recently posted about this problem I am having, but got very little response. So I'm putting out the challenge for you "experts" to help me find a solution.

Here is what is going on...

In my attempt to make my computer run faster, I followed an some online advice about disabling some services. Well, it is running faster but now I have a bunch of new issues. First of all:

• I cannot re-enable these service. After disabling these I no longer get the "properties dialog box" If I can resolve this issue I probably can resolve all the rest.
• I can't do a System Restore. I have tried it in regular mode and in safe mode. So, I am unable to go back and fix the problem this way.
• Please note this one... I do not have the Windows disk. BTW, I'm running Windows XP.
• I can't connect to the internet wirelessly because the "network" folder is EMPTY.
• I don't have sound on my laptop any longer (minor issue right now).

I've tried all kinds of things, such as different regedit commands in cmd. What I am looking for at this time is someone who is familiar with this problem and who knows whether or not I can resolve.
