I have the same error code as the user asking for help in the following thread:

    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=257812

My 64-bit Windows7 PC goes to blue screen of death seconds after power up. All I have is internet via cell phone tether and I do have a 16gb flash drive. Just need to know what to do next, thanks.

P.S. This was a brand new PC and I have no clue as to how it acquired such a disastrous thing.

    Welcome to {MG}:wave

Are you able to enter safe mode.If you are able to enter safe mode please give us the BSOD code.

You can download this little item here-->>Download Now to scan your crash.

All you need to do is download item and double click on the icon in the folder no need to install any thing.

Thank you for the welcome, prompt response, and for your help.

I used to be able to enter the safe modes, but the amount of time able to work with that got shorter and shorter. Now no matter which option I pick, it goes straight to bsod.

Now I get the same error as this user:
    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=257812

    Error code: STOP:*0x0000007B (0xFFFFF880009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFFC000000D, 0X0000000000000000, 0X0000000000000000)

I wasn't given any Windows 7 discs with this (64-bit) computer. I also don't want to lose any data. I have cell phone internet and can use it to download files to my tablet and then I have a tablet USB adapter. So I have a 16gb flash drive that can be loaded with required files. If the bsod can be conquered, then I would be able to perform USB tether to my phone for Internet. Things like System Restore, etc. didn't help.

I hope this info is helpful.

You might have to run a chkdsk.

When you boot up windows again open your My computer then right click on the Local drive for your windows then go to Properties then in properties click on tools then error checking then click on the check now.

When new box opens tick both options listed then start another promp will pop up just click yes then reboot. And let it do its thing.

The 0x0000007B Error, commonly, can be triggered by the following factors:

    1. Outdated or Corrupted Drivers - A device driver was poorly installed or outdated.
    2. System File Corruption - A program or a virus corrupted windows system files.
    3. Hardware malfunctions - New Hardware might not be compatible with existing or it just stopped working from other reasons.
    4. Registry Corruption - A virus or a program overwrote the registry keys or deleted some keys.
    5. Viruses - A virus had deleted, overwritten or changed important files that are need for Windows to function properly.
I do see that you where on the malware fourms.Did you do every step that chaslang told you to do.

I'm afraid it won't budge. I can't even get to My Computer because it goes straight to bsod.

The link I included is from a different user working with Chaslang. I posted it because I'm in the same predicament except I can't even get past the system restore etc options page.

If you think its a malware or virus problem then head over to the forum and start a thread.I will most likely not be able to help you untill this virus or malware is removed.

I read where it states that if I was posting for the first time but uncertain where to go, that I was to post the issue here. Can you please direct me to where I should post this issue? Thank you again.

Malware Geeks won't touch this if the computer is not bootable.

You said this is a new computer. It should be under warranty. Contact the place where you bought it from. You might have a hardware problem if a new computer blue screens a few seconds after it is powered on.
