In need of prayers/mojo plz

As you know I was in a car accident earlier this week. Called a family friend(lawyer) about my case. We talked for a bit and was in the process of setting up an appt for next week sometime.

Got a call a little while ago. He was on the river with 2 of his 5 kids. Somehow he hit his head and drowned. They fished him out of the river a little bit ago. His two boys aren't doing so well and I cannot even to begin to imagine what his wife is going thru at this point.

If you get a chance could you please say a prayer for Mike and his family. I still can't believe I just talked to him 2 days ago and now he's gone...

Oh man that's a shocker. My condolences.

 

They'll be in my prayers. Nobody is ever prepared for that kind of shock.

BluesMan, that's really terrible news. My condolences to everybody.

 

He got a new wake tower for his boat. Someone was boarding and there was a problem with the tower. He let the other guy in the boat drive and crawled up on the tower while the guy continued to board. Guy driving was inexperienced and didn't realize how close to the bridge they were. Mike turned around on the tower and took the bridge straight in the head. Killed him instantly.

It finally hit his wife today. She cried hard all day. I hope she finds some comfort soon. This is awful. We all wish we could make it better but it will just take time.

Thanks for all the prayers guys. Their family is going to need them.

 

That is so sad and my thoughts also go out to the guy driving the boat. He must feel terrible.

Although it is extremely hard to listen to someone cry their heart out, it is a good sign that his wife is now expressing emotion and allowing herself to release it. But again, so very very sad for you all.

The thought of such a thing happening brings tears to my eyes. I am sorry anyone has to experience it.

Oh man, I'm really sorry to hear that. You know, having kids myself (and you know too Randy) , it just means a whole different thing. Stuff like this hits us all hard in some way. It could just as well have been one of us. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family..

 

That's horrible. Guy's just out for some fun, and that happens. A list of things have to come together to end like that. Poor kids watching.
