In search of Fastest Browser

I am in search of fastest browser. Will u please tell me which browser is a fastest one and from where to download it?

 

I just use FireFox and Internet Explorer and they work fine for me!

AFAIK K-meleon is the absolute fastest, but i use Firefox too.

 

K-meleon is the fastest,if you dont have much ram its the one to use.Firefox works good too but loads slow for me occasionally.I have had no errors or crashes with either browser.This old computer has never worked better since I switched to those 2

 

I had the same problem. What I did to help was open FF.type "about:config" without quotes in url bar hit go. Find "browser.startup.page" right click and change value to 0. Now FF. opens much faster,without opening a homepage. Works for me.

Haven't tried the latest Firefox, but Opera has always been the fastest browser on my two Win 2K machines.

 

H ave you tried adding a prefetch switch? To do so right click on FF. icon>properties>short cut,target. After the .exe" leave a space then add "/prefetch:1" without the quotes. Should look like this,

Works with other programs also. Remember to leave a space between the last "and/.
