Hi. I recently switched to Qwest High Speed for my IBM Thinkpad laptop T22 loaded with Windows 2000. Everything was working fine until I decided to use the wireless option. I purchased a wireless card and it wouldn't connect so I decided to remove the Qwest installation and re-install. After I removed all the Qwest stuff, I lost my ability to connect to the internet (even with my previous Netzero Dial up). I'm not sure but I thought maybe the Qwest software may have attached to some of my networking software and it was removed when I removed the Qwest stuff. I contacted Qwest and IBM and got no help. Is there a way to do a system restore on Windows 2000 or maybe a registry restore that can bring back my ability to connect? I checked all the system hardware and my Intel Pro V ethernet and Lucent Modem both seem to be working properly according to my computer. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I can't believe that in a matter of seconds I lost all ability to connect to the internet. I really appreciate any help. Please let me know if you need any more additionatl information.
    THANKS!!!
    John

Have you checked settings>control panel>internet options>connections? Perhaps these were removed in your uninstall. If they are there, perhaps they are corrupt and need deleteing and reinstalling.
