Incompatible Java download with windows 7 64 bit

    I am running windows 7 64 bit and it corrupted. I tried to delete the file and the file extentions but they will not delete. Windows Exployer does not compete the download and loads at a snails pace since installing Java. I tried dialafix but could not even get it to download. I get an error message that the file is corrupted with the error code 0x80070571. I also tried to download windows 7 32 bit to see if I could then correct the problem but it would not load. This is over my head and any help would be appreciated.

    You need to give more info:
    • what corrupted?
    • what download?
    • what Java - RTE or JDK?
    • what Java version - 32bit or 64bit?
