   I have been getting wildly inconsistent internet speeds the past 2 days. I normally get 40 down/20 up or thereabouts, and yesterday I noticed websites loading slowly. I ran Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro, and they both found some issues. I cleaned them out, but now when I run the test at speakeasy.speedtest.net it sometimes looks fine, and then 20 seconds later it will only give me 2 up/2 down.
   
   Any thoughts?

   Best to contact your ISP and ask them. If they say there isn't a problem, then come back and we will have you go through our cleaning procedures.
