Incredibly stubborn malware - can't remove

I have spent no less than eight hours going through the posts in this forum and trying to remove all of the adware that infected my computer. While many of the programs / files have been removed, I'm still having problems. Typical ads include partypoker and redorbit.

I have followed the instructions under READ ME FIRST. Attached is my hijackthis log and newfiles.txt. However, I get an Upload Failed message when I try to upload runkeys.txt.

I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

 

Even allowing for the upload problem with RunKeys.txt you are missing 2 others. Whats the actual error message with the upload, if its too big them put it in a zip file. please upload the other logs we requested in the Read and Run Me thread. as there are 5 logs and you can only attach 3 to a post you will need to use more than one post to upload them.

Thanks for your response. After doing an additional 12-hour scan using the BitDefender site and still another six hours scanning with the CounterSpy program, I was finally able to get rid of all of the problems. The biggest issue was a threat that was in resident memory. After Spybot S&D was unable to remove it, the threat called out to the net to install still more trojans, and my problems got exponentially worse. CounterSpy was the workhorse that fixed my problems.

You should have a software firewall installed. If you had it would have prevented one infection from downloading more.
