Incubus

Saw these guys in Calgary a couple of weeks ago. Awesome! I've been a fan since their album "Make Yourself" and bought them all since. Interesting event, my wife and I got to the venue early so we could have a couple of beers and find our seats before the rush. After the beers we went to the entrance, produced our tickets and headed to the "pat-down line". At first I lined up with my wife in the girl line, the line with girls doing the searching. They would have none of that, (I didn't know... honest), I had to be searched by a guy. I moved over to the other line, lifted my arms and waited. The guy looked at me like I was his dad and said, "What do you have on you?' "A brownie" I told him. He seemed kind of flustered and said "No outside food of any kind" So I stepped out of the line and ate it. When I got back in line the other guy searched me. He didn't care how old I was, I was getting searched. After that, I know the one area I could stash stuff.
I noticed that we were possibly the oldest people there. I don't think they are as popular as I thought, especially with older people. The sound and lights were great, the band incredible. They were better live then on their albums. You don't always get that with a band. Great seats too. All told, probably the best concert I've been to, Keeping in mind, I ate a WHOLE brownie.

I got Incubus on afew cd's there really good. I think i got "Make Yourself" around here somewhere. I wish i could go to one of there concerts.

Concerts are always pretty good in general...trust you to join the ladies queue for a searchLOL
