Infected PC Help needed

First of all hello everybody, nice to be here, present circumstances aside

My Sons Pc seems to have become infected with some kind of malware/trojan.

The internet connection on the pc is ridiculously slow and pretty much unusable, so online scans and such are unavailable. I managed to download the programs that are required to run before the post on my pc and transferred them across manually.

I suspect the problem has arisen due to bad web surfing, being a teenager he ignores our advice most of the time.

I would greatly appreciate any help to resolve this problem a.s.a.p.
