If anyone can help me, I would be very appreciative. I've followed all necessary steps, but can't get rid of this pesky pop-up for Anti Spyware Box by Titan Shield. I can 't delete temp internet files or history in the tools section of IE6 either. Thanks in advance! HiJackThis log attached.

You need to really follow the steps verbatim as you have HJT installed in the exact place we advise you dont have it installed at C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\Unzipped\hijackthis[1]\HijackThis.exe please follow the guide and post the required logs.

you also need to run and attach the logs for Panda and Bitdefender which were not run ( both listed in Section 6 of the guide ) , if you had problems running them please advise why?

Your 'new' hijack this log shows it is still in essentially the same location. C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\hijackthis[1]\HijackThis.exe Our instructions explain step by step how to install HJT to C:\Program Files\Hijack This

In order to provide support you need to follow the directions given. We can't help you unless you do your part. If you are having problems doing so you need to let us know specifically what those problems are..error codes, etc.

Please note: HJT is not a malware removal tool. HJT is a useful tool that will show various registry entries, running processes, etc. but it is a final step, not a first step.

You indicate the on-line scans will not run however your HJT logs show no indication that you even tried to run them. Try running the on-line scans in safe mode with networking if you can't get it to work in normal mode.

    - You also don't appear to have SpyBot installed per the READ ME. What else did you skip? Skipping steps makes it take that much longer to get your computer fixed.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
      • Bitdefender
      • Panda Scan
      • HijackThis
