Infected with malware; Browser Redirecting; Virtumonde; Zlob; perhaps others

    Hi Majorgeeks.com,

    I have been dealing with a very tricky malware item for almost a month now and I am totally fed up. After running scans in MBAM, Spybot S&D, SuperAntiSpyware, AVG 9, Dr Web CureIT, Combofix, several online scanners and more, I have been unable to stop my Firefox browser (v 3.5.6) from redirecting my google searches. I've realized that my browser is getting redirected to toseeka.com, theproductdepot.com and searching4all.com, among others as some examples.

    I originally had Virtumonde, Zlob and SHuer2, and I was able to remove most of it with my scans, but I still cant stop the redirecting. Can someone kindly help me with this?

    After following the instructions from the READ & RUN ME FIRST forum, I noticed that Root Repeal crashed and restarted my system.

    I am running Windows XP SP3, use AVG Free 9.0 antivirus, just installed spyware blaster, and have installed the newest version of Java

    Please see the attached logs (there are 3 MBAM logs from this month) and try to help me out.

    Note: While we appreciate that you very likely posted at multiple forums in order to ensure a response, in the future please do not cross-post. Resources that help perform malware removal are very precious and very limited, and cross-posting only serves to tie up the time of multiple helpers who could be using that time to help someone else who also has problems.

    In the future - choose one forum and stick with that one until they've resolved your problem.
