Hi, I cannot access the os. Here are the specs.

    Original win 8.
    Win 10 upgrade
    Build (10240) 64 bit
    CPU Intel (R)
    Core (TM) i5 3210 M CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 cores)
    RAM 32MB
    ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
    Q500A
    Version 1.0

I had been having issues with connectivity and basically had to stay connected to the ethernet. I would rarely get a signal otherwise. Daughter was playing Minecraft on my puter, ethernet unplugged. She came to me freaked out saying there was a siren and a man talking, asking her to call a number. Tried to click out but pop ups came faster than I could click out. I just turned the machine off. Hasn't been touched since, ( more than a month), intending to have it repaired. However, I don't have the money and need my puter now. So, today I went to advanced recovery and accessed command prompt to run Farbar. How do I go about starting the Malware Removal Guide since I cannot login? I will attach FRST.txt here shortly. I have no other computer and doing all this from my phone. So, as soon as I find a USB port I will send.

Not much we can do without logs. If you can borrow a computer to transfer the cleaning software and upload the logs that would be a help.

Save fixlist.txt on your Desktop. Make sure you save it as a txt file.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your Desktop.
    • Now I want you to disconnect your PC connection to the internet by unplugging the cable ( if it is wireless then temporarily shutdown the wireless network ).
    • Run FRST64.exe by right clicking on it and selecting Run As Adminstrator
    • Click the Fix button just once and wait.
    • Your computer should reboot after the fix runs.
    • Reconnect your internet connection after reboot so you can come back here to continue.
    • The tool will make a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt) please attach this new log to your next reply (attach or paste)

Let me know if you can now boot as I am not seeing much in the way of malware, so please try to run the other scans in the Read and Run First instructions.

Should I boot normally or in safe mode. I don't have an external control for wireless, except for the function key which doesn't work. Unless I'm doing something wrong. I pressed the key but nothing changed. Should I be pressing another key in combination to the f2 wireless key?

Boot into normal mode and try to run as many of the scans as possible.
