Infecting a test machine

I've got a clean WinXP machine, and I'm looking to infect it with a reasonably representative range of threats to test my security workup- a random smattering of spyware, a simple virus or two, a virulent virus or two, and perhaps a rootkit of some sort. I'm looking for things that are difficult to remove- it's OK if they're damaging, since this will be a system with no value to me beyond this test, but surplus to requirements.
Is there a recognized library of sample threats out there, or will I have to spend an hour or two browsing Russian midget porn and listening to Sony BMG CDs?

    Or download Limewire....LOL...

No, you will not find anything as a repository for you to click on. We remove any links that may be infected.

    Good luck though!
