Here are my logs as directed One thing I want to point out. While running Malwarebytes the system disconnected from the internet during scan ? Then reconnected? Ran this scan before I don't remember it ever doing this.

Also while running Combo fix step 15 was not done but 14 was done x2 ?? At least that is what I read while it was executing. Also the Clock was not set back from Military time?

    Attached are logs

    Thanks in advance

If this is something that just happened after downloading and installing :
Security Update for Windows XP (KB951748) ....uninstall it and tell me if you are still having problems.

I clicked on a misleading application and everything started from there. The first problem was a Trojan Vundo, followed later by a ZLOB. Thought I could just do a cleansing and did a reformat and recovery. Well all my viral scans scan are clean but the Interent and my Internet based game I play are bad.

To sorta answer your question my system seemed to zip after intial reformat. Installing Norton Internet Security went quick 500 or so Download speed. After the windows updater caught up to me and the IE7 update came it slowed down. I thought it was IE7 so I did another Reformat and recovery and loaded only Fire Fox 3. Internet is better, but download on Guild wars is degrading and pathetic 50-disconnect range. I think it was 300-200 when I was clean. The KB951748 update could have came in at the same time as IE7. There was like 87 or so updates.

But I never had a problem at all with anything before the infection?

Do you still want me to delete the update ?

To delete I go to add/remove and delete from there correct ?

    Thanks for the quick reply

Could be Norton is slowing you down ...bundled suites will do that. However, this is not a malware issue so best if you would post in the software section. :)

I did have alot of viruses and things. That I removed with software before I reformatted? So my scans attached look good?

Can Malware/viruses cause so much activity that it can damage a modem or ethernet card? Wavy performance

A reformat will wipe everything ....malware included. But then you need to reload drivers, among other things, for your system, which is why I suggested a trip to the software forum.
