So my rootkit is gone, but now no one can reach my network shares and I was told one of the malware gurus here might be able to help.

    Original infection: ZeroAcccess rootkit

Software used: SuperAntiSpyware, HijackThis, Spybot Search and Destroy, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, CCleaner, the Kaspersky Rescue Disk, ComboFix, TDSSKiller, GMER, rkill, and UnhackMe.

Issue: My connectivity to the internet and other computers in the home is unaffected but no computer can ping my computers IP or network name.

All network services are turned on and I have tried readding the shares and the permissions.

    Welcome to MajorGeeks, Guest2 :)

We haven't heard of ZeroAccess doing this before. What software have you installed prior to your infection?
