I installed Music Match, and played with the option My Computer/Folder Options / Audio CD. I deleted the Play command as I did not want inserting a CD to launch Win Media Player or Music Match. Now, every time I insert a CD, a folder "D" appears on my desktop with all of the tracks on the CD listed as files. How do I make this stop? Thanks in advance for your help

Maybe because your music files have no program associated with them, now that you set them not to open with Music Match, or Media Player? Tools>folder options>file types> "open with".

You can turn off autorun for all your optical drives in Device Manager. That way, nothing will happen when you put any CD/DVD in your drives - youll have to start them all manually.
. My win2k is like that - it'll start the media player if it finds any type of media file in the root directory when autorun is ON whether there is the autorun file present or not, so I turned autorun OFF.

    where is device manager?
Also, if I do the Tools, Open With thing, will it cause the CD to automatically play again when inserted?

Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager button.

You may also be able to do it in CP > Admin tools > storage management.

you might try using music matches properties to get back its file associations. You can also right click the file>properties and change the file associations.
