When I put a SD disk in the slot in front of my PC (to import photos), I get a message to insert a disk into the drive. But it is already inserted. I take it out and put it back in, still the same message. Then I attached my camera with a USB cord. Same message. So I decided to reinstall the camera with the CD that came with it. Still the same message. All of these worked before, but I have not tried them for a while. I know I must have done something, but I do not know when or what.:confused

  2. Have you got another SD card to try to rule out its your computer? The SD card itself may of died or become corrupt. If you have a Spare SD card stick it in the camera and take a few photos then try and get them onto the computer the same way you are trying now, if this works it will rule out your hardware :)

Let me know how you get on and we can work from there.

Another SD card did not work either. I created a new name and got it to download under the new person. But I have an Olympus that uses a cell phone little bitty card. It has to be inserted into an SD adapter. This will not import even under the new name.
