install easybcd on ubutu? (or other boot loader)

Hello, I'm running Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, and Vista Buisness. They boot from seperate partitions on the same Hard drive.

GRUB has been corrupted, and now the only way to boot into Ubuntu is through a Super Grub disc i made. Vista won't boot at all.

I need to install a new boot manager via linux, as i can't even get into Vista to install from there. Any suggestions?

Why not just reinstall grub?

 

this is the third time in the last todays it happened, im not sure if its a bad update for grub that corrupts it, or if vista is corrupting it

 

ok well, i reformatted my entire hard drive, re installed vista, then ubuntu, then repaired the vista boot loader after grub wrote over it.

Definately wrth the hassle, now im rid of all the crap software acer bundled with this laptop.

Vista boots jst fine, ubuntu boots via the super grub disk.

Im having problems adding Grub to the vista boot manager. I'm trying to use easybcd, but no success yet.

 

to add ubuntu to the vista boot loader, install TweakVI and there is a bootloader tool in there.

 

A the moment I have grub reinstalled, Ill try that program u suggested if i have some more problems, thanks.
