I bought my daughter a game for her birthday that I can't install on her computer. I do have parental setting set up on her unit but I installed it from the administrator's account and got the error. Her machine is the only one in the house running Vista and I'm not real familiar with how to troubleshoot it yet. Does anyone know how I can access this setting and change it so I can install the program for my daughter?

    format C: /s and install XP. :D

Looks more like the windows installer is not properly installed. Is this 64-bit Vista?

The parental controls are in the control panel, I think under Account Management. I don't use them (no kids in the house) so I don't know that much about them though. Sorry I can't help more. :)

One more thing... I'm not familiar with that game, but if it was made for XP, try installing it in XP Compatibility mode.
