I posted in the hardware section and no one responded so this might be a driver question.

Hello, I have a Asus A8n-E and a x850xt 256 sapphire vid card. I was installing my new wireless card into my comp but I didn't install the cd first, I just plugged in the hardware and then installed. When the end of the CD promts to boot off my comp and install the card I just power off and power back on and I got a black screen, I cleared the hard drive and reinstall the windows and it worked till I restarted the comp again, got more black screen. So now I'm using a normal PCI card to work on my computer. I looked into the device manager and It doesn't see my card, even after installing the driver from the cd and from their website. I can see the video card when i go into safe mode as admin.

When you re-installed windows again did you install the motherboard/chipset ( nVidia Nforce in your case ) drivers again? these are crucial to be installed as they aid in correct recognition of other parts of the hardware, eg. PCI-Express support.
