Installing And Using Windows Media Maker

Hello,

Major Geeks has a strong recommendation for getting Windows Media Maker. I went through the Windows part of the install just now.

My goal through any of this was to get Explorer out of a slowdown that seemed to affect all requests to load programs pr content -- the throbber would continue much longer than seemed necessary just for a vid on my desktop.

How does this install of Windows for Media Maker access Media Maker to create thumb drives etc.
If this is the how to s I do not know how to search it. Also any addition of tips you might recommend.

The system here is a small Ryzen CPU on an Asus A32o. My boot drive is a small SSD from Ediloca mfg and
I wondered if the slowdown had to do with setting trim or some such.
