    Hey merry X-mas everyone...
I'm trying to install faxing capabilities through windows XP SP2, my fax is a MFP, a lexmark P3150. I can't understand the Lexmark website. They say

Open BVRP FaxTools, click Configure, and then click General Configuration.
    Select the Communication tab.
Click Change Modem and then click Advanced.
When you receive a message indicating that the services of a technician are needed, click OK. A list of modems is displayed.

Where do I find the BVRP faxtools??? What is that. I get directed by troubleshooter to gop to the MSN website to see if my modem is supported but can't find anything there. Can someone help?

My modem is a Lucent Win modem and I connect through the magicjack VoIP unit...thanks

sorry, you're right. so do I scan first and save it? I have an option under the 'creative tasks' to 'fax using pc modem'. Is that the same thing?
