    Hi all,
I would like to install my printer software on my new laptop. My new laptop has Windows 7. The printer software CD is set for Windows Vista.
My question is - will there be any problems installing/running the software on my laptop?
    Thank you. :)

Until you tell us the brand and exact model of the printer, it would be guessing. We need to be able to see if a windows 7 driver is available from the printer company.

First step, toss the CD. Second step, open web browser. Third step, in the address bar type in the manufacturer website of the printer (ie if a HP printer, it would be hp.com; epson epson.com; etc.). Then click on Support or the Download drivers link, and download the drivers for your printer for the Operating system that is on your machine.

As for your original question, no problem, but the Vista drivers may be outdated that is on the CD, but yes they would work on your Windows 7 machine, since they are pretty much the same OS, just a few tweaks.
